DBA >> Basic strategy for those looking to launch a business and/or production company, a DBA (Doing Business As or Fictitious Name) operates under a name different from your given legal name.  Valid for 5 years. Package Includes: fictitious name search within county of residence, filing of fictitious name statement, DBA record publishing (required for all new businesses), advice for banking and online invoicing options.  DBA renewal is also available.  

Cost: $150.00 plus estimated $75.00 Filing Fees                 
Estimated Total Cost: $225.00

LLC >> The most popular business entity type, especially for small businesses, the Limited Liability Corporation is considered simpler and more flexible to operate than a full corporation. Like DBAs, LLCs are still tied to your personal taxes, but offers liability protection by creating a separate entity for legal and banking matters.  Recommended for those with incomes above $100,000. Package Includes: verify (if necessary) and reserve business name within target state, preparation and filing of all entity documents (including Articles of Incorporation), obtain federal EIN / Tax ID number, file Statement of Information within target state (required within first 90 days) and customized LLC Kit. 

Cost: $350.00 plus estimated $435.00 State, Filing & Kit fees

S-Corp >> A hybrid of an LLC and C-Corp, this entity offers the same advantages and protections as an LLC, it also provides added tax benefits for those operating larger companies but with a limited number of employees.  Recommended for those with incomes above $100,000. Separate business tax filing is required. Package Includes: verify (if necessary) and reserve business name within target state, preparation and filing of all entity documents (including Articles of Incorporation), obtain federal EIN / Tax ID number, file Statement of Information within target state (required within first 90 days) and customized LLC Kit.  

Cost: $450.00 plus estimated $525.00 State, Filing & Kit fees

C-Corp >> The full corporation structure, this entity is recommended for those with incomes above $250,000 and operating large companies with a higher number of employees. Separate business tax filing is required. Package Includes: verify (if necessary) and reserve business name within target state, preparation and filing of all entity documents (including Articles of Incorporation), obtain federal EIN / Tax ID number, file Statement of Information within target state (required within first 90 days) and customized Corporate Kit.
